What were the websites you guys have mentioned before for decent deals on DEMO or refurb scopes?
eBay is lost it when it comes to deals? NAW and he!! NAW, and then their fees, then taxes. Ridiculous. Scope Forums can get sketchy with scammers............so what's a tight wad to do for good glass?

Call Scott's Outdoors in Jay, FL. They will deal and price match. They've got just about anything you'd want, NF, Zeiss, Swaro, Leup, and normally run some really good monthly sales. They were running 3x12x56, 30mm tube, Zeiss Conquest V4's about this time last year, at $699. Illum for $899. They buy in bulk and make their money moving product. Couple hours south of you but they'll ship and I can attest they are fine to deal with.
From time to time Red Hawk Rifles will run some real good deals on their demo scopes. I looked just a minute ago and didnt see anything that I felt was really a good value buy at this time.

Look at the vx3hd with firedot it is what I have on a little .308 it is good scope for the money light small and has performed perfectly for me and the kids shooting love the illuminated dot.

Scott's in Jay is in the process of a change of ownership. I'm not sure if the deal has gone through yet or not, but this is fact.
No idea whether or not things will change with new ownership or not. I hope not, as it's always been a bit of a hidden gem, if you can get past some of the help behind the gun counter.
Mike was always a consummate businessman. Hate to see him sell it, but understand some of the circumstances, too.

Made a quick phone call and the deal closed in late Feb. New owner was a previous manager that I was never really impressed with. A couple of the really good guys there, that knew what they were doing at Scotts are going to be starting something similar in Brewton. I'll post the name and info once they get it up and going.

I know that Bobby's Guns and Ammo in Brewton has new ownership. The old ownership there had lost the FFL for it somehow, but as of about 2 weeks ago, the new owners are back to selling guns again. Not sure if that's who you are talking about or not.
