The only issue I have with my Honda 700 is that on cold mornings if you crank and go the top speed is only about 5mph till it warms up and then it's fine.. It's almost time for the 600 mile maintenance and I'll talk to Honda about this.. Does anybody else have this problem? I have the Honda 700 and I have experience this before. Same as you, on really cold mornings. I thought I had a transmission problem but it seems to be just that cold morning. There are many Pioneer 700 owners that say it likes being over filled slightly with oil. They usually fill it to half way between the full mark and where the dip stick changes from flat to round. I'm not sure if that helps your issue or not. And many swear that switching to Amsoil has made a noticeable difference.
