Teremana, 1800, and camareno are our favorites. We mostly drink it straight.

Thanks, got a few on the list I will try. Tried Teremana and it was ok. Have also tried Tequila Ocho (which is really good) and also Siete Leguas that i like also.

Casamigo is best I’ve ever had. But don’t drink much of it so I’m sure there are other good ones

My go-to's for having a great quality tequila that is affordable enough you don't mind mixing are, Altos, Camarena, Espolon and Jose Cuervo Tradicional (this is NOT the bottled piss that is regular Jose Quervo, but a very nice 100% agave option at around $35 a bottle)
Some of my good friends moved to Mexico years ago and they always bring back wonderful local Mezcal from brands that don't get exported. Mezcal, as long as it's not too smokey is usually my favorite overall agave liquor.

For sipping wife prefers the 1800 Anejo over some of the more expensive ones but for making a margarita we just use Margaritaville or Hornitos. All the mixers override the flavor of the alcohol anyway

Tapatio Tequila Ocho El Tesoro Siete Legues Teqillino Don Fulano Cascanes plenty of good ones out there.
All additive free and reasonably priced. Daily for mixing, blancos. Sipping, anejos. I typically stay away from the personality-backed tequilas. Lots of folks like Casamigos as it has a bunch of sugar and vanilla.
