What do you recommend? Looking for 100" agave with no additives. Both a good mixer and a good sipper.
Best budget for mixing, etc.
Blanco's , Reposada, Aneo ??

MrsGomer likes Casamigo......I don't know anything about tequila, personally, but I've had it in margarita's and it was fine.

Clase Azul Repo. This stuff is fine and sips better than high end bourbons

el Jimador Silver gets my vote for mixing and sipping. Middle ground for price. I've not verified it against your additional criteria.

Purely for sipping, Anejo. Mixing I prefer Reposado. Casamigo, Casa Nobel, Don Julio, Casa Azule, El Jimador are a few of the many…most are $50 bottles (Azule is $100).
Blanco = unaged
Reposado = barrel aged 2 months to a year
Anejo = barrel aged 1 to 3 years

George Clooney is part owner of Casamigo. I’ll drink another brand that’s better.

Was, along with Julia Roberts’s husband, and another. They sold it a few years back for a few BILLION each. It is also one of the few premiums with added flavor (vanilla and other), which is a ding among premium tequilas. My wife likes it, so we keep some on hand.

Ron White has a collaboration tequila that is good…Number Juan Tequila (real name of it).

Personally, I use tequila for mixed drinks and it’s usually something like Herredura anejo. For sipping I prefer mezcal. Much more interesting flavor profiles. Marco Negra for my Oaxacans, though, with a splash of anejo tequila, patron citronage or gran marnier, and a little agave syrup.

Siete Leguas is one of the best blancos that I have had.

There is a mexican guy on Instagram that reviews tequilas. He tells about the family distilleries, that control every aspect of the process. Never had a bad bottle from his picks.

Looked him up. His name is Lucas Assis, and he's actually from Brazil. Still a good source for info.

A friend is a connoisseur of tequilas and goes into great detail about them. He was impressed when another friend brought this
Smooth is an understatement

I like 1800 Silver, its a good all around Tequila and the bottle doesn’t fall over easily.

The stuff is like Whiskey, everyone has different taste buds so reviews are pretty worthless. To believe its 100% Agave means you put a lot of trust in mexican cartels.

I like cheap Hornitos because it has a black pepper taste.

If you think goat meat, milk, cheese, and shrunken heads all smell and taste like repulsive goat , you are a high taster.
