I might miss place my cellphone. And every now and then, I can’t find where I set my sunglasses down last. Heck, it’s all part of getting old. But there’s something I never lose track of, and that’s my truck keys. Sometimes, a nice solo drive in the countryside can clear things up, while the wife has time to get in a better frame of mind. A half of a tank of diesel fuel is a small price to pay for peace on earth.
If upon returning home, the volume of conversations is still a little too high, another half a tank might straighten things out.
