There are some decent people in Oregon but politically it is one of, if not the most radical left wing state in the country. That's the facts, like it or not. With a small electoral college vote total, it’s just not worth the money to try and sway “independents”. Independents typically break for democrats anyway, so Oregon is basically one of the most unimportant states in the country for republicans in national election cycles. That's accurate, athough the vote for GOV was close. A DA independent jumped in and drew Republican votes using the words "farming" and "guns". Had it not been for that, I think they would now have a Republican governor. Queer lady won by 66k votes. The independent pulled around 170k votes. The winner pulled 6 of the states 36 counties. That alone shows the misconceptions of most peoples knowledge of the people types up here. A select few fug it up.
