#3 dead at 615. had to watch him for 15 min before he gave me a shot. It was one of those mornings that hooks you on how easy it was. I'll take it because the rest of the year has been HARD
My season is done on our place(club rule is 3) unless I get an invite somewhere else.

Congratulations killers, been nice watching the sunrise, staring at my bird and listening to several more gobbling. I think I'm done and will start back trapping

First morning since April 14 that I could tell turkeys still exist. Got in on bird early. Gobbled 2 times on the limb and once on the ground going away. Sitting on the property line so that was the end of him. As he left a jake started gobbling. Flew into the field and looked at my hen decoy but gobbled his way over the hill. He was raising hell. Heard several full gobbles from the same direction. Had to back out and go to work.

Been a good year. Very successful when birds gobble and need one more to finish. Not sure it will happen but will keep trying.

Finally found one that wanted to play the game this morning before work. Dead at 6:30 and back home before the kids left for school.

Had one gobble 5x on the limb this morning. I got within 150 of him and soft tree yelped. Silence. Moved down the ridge a little further kind of Inline with him tree yelp, silence. Sat there 25-30 minutes of silence, was getting up to loop back around, and there he stood 75 yards coming in silent. It was kind of thick between, he saw movement and pitched to the ridge he was roosted on. Soon as his feet hit the ground, he gobbled his head off. If I had the time. I feel like I could’ve killed him, but I’ll try again this week. First bird I’ve heard in 3 weeks.
