Point to me on the doll where the bad union folks touched y’all. Again, you guys pick and choose what freedoms you want to exist. If a union isn’t necessary then it won’t get voted in. If you don’t wanna unionize then shut the doors. Owners choice. Been a union member for 32 years and wouldn’t change anything. It’s much needed where I work. Everything we do is critiqued down to the second. Without the union there would be a revolving door of employees. You can hate unions all you want. But to say they aren’t needed in places is ignorant. Especially when you don’t know all the situations.
Go work somewhere else and quit trying to extort someone into running their business how they don’t want to.
If he is talking about who I think he is, they are different animal all together and the union is the only thing that keeps that ship sailing. For instance if they are in any accident regardless of circumstances, they are fired on the spot. At least thats the way it use to be. It a strange structure that company has. You'll never see a fat guy doing that job for a reason.
Your assumption is correct oakachoy. It’s a very strange structure there. Always has been. But it’s getting worse. They are trying to terminate guys now for not being able to step in the truck, put your computer in its cradle, put your seatbelt on, crank the truck, push your mirror out, look left down side of truck, and then be rolling, in 10 seconds or less. Time starts as soon as you are near the truck. But if they don’t get rid of the CEO, who continues to get huge raises while trying to run the business in the ground, then yes the doors will close on her watch. And we have one fat guy who’s been there since 87. He’s retiring very soon. Not because he wants to. He will be fired if he don’t. And yes. They do fire people. Not all stay fired but they don’t mind firing you knowing it’s not even an offense that warrants it. But the union has been there since the 70’s. It ain’t going anywhere unless the doors close.
