They have to be VERY close and VERY loud for me to hear. Gobbling is a different story, at 64 YO I can hear a gobble far as anyone . Sure wish I could hear it .

Only way I’ve heard it is on a video with headphones on and turned way up. Can’t imagine how exciting that would be in the woods.
