4 years in and I've yet to hear drumming. I've seen several Toms now but have yet to hear one drum. Wondering if I can hear that frequency.
I'm convinced I can't....I've had gobblers strutting close several times but I've never heard it. I've also had people send me videos of turkeys claiming that you could clearly hear them drumming.....but for me, *nothing* I can hear the spit (in the videos) but nothing else They have to be VERY close and VERY loud for me to hear. Gobbling is a different story, at 64 YO I can hear a gobble far as anyone . Sure wish I could hear it . I had one drumming so loud this morning that Helen Keller could’ve heard it
