And with all that said - i can get on the wrong turkey that can kick my butt all year - that aint happened in a while - prob due to lack of turkeys. Those are the ones i hate and lov the most - feel great when u kill! The more tricks u got in the bag (things u got to break them down from strutt to come in) the more u will kill!!
For silent gobs - first and foremost - more patience! If u dont hav large fields - pastures or open areas (areas to watch from a distance) silent gobs can b very tuff!! I almost always dont hav lot of large open areas so hav no clue where silent gob is
Turkey i killed second day this year - i had prob sat silent for at least 25 min and they just appeared. Another larger bird came in after shot from another direction after the shot. One had answered my crow when i got there and never gobble again - never answered 3 hard cuts from diff locations nor soft stuff. I just decided to shut up - had the advantage of knowing they were there! If they No gobble at crow - i would hav been long gone!!
