Unions protect the employees that don’t want to work. And that is all they are good for.

Phuck organized labor period!!! This is coming from a 40 year dues paying former USW member!!! Where did you work in Alabama or for that matter any state that forced you to join USW and pay dues in an organization that apparently you didn’t want no part of?

Phuck organized labor period!!! This is coming from a 40 year dues paying former USW member!!! 40yrs. How’s that pension of retirement and those other benefits working out for you? My pension comes from International Paper! I never got anything from the USW but a plucking. Don’t believe me? Send me a PM. I’ll tell you all about it!

Trust me there was plenty of pressure to join the Local and pay dues.

The vote at Mercedes is the week if May 13. Nearly 75% voted in favor of the UAW at VW. Given those numbers in Chattanooga…my guess is that it will pass at Mercedes.

Well, at least I’ve got my points in and can retire at any time now. Mercedes has already went to hell in a hand basket. If the UAW gets voted in, that will be the nail in the coffin.

If those dumbasses vote for Detroit Unions, they get what they deserve!! Mercedes has constantly expanded since they came, that will halt and the democrats will just get lazier.

Maybe that’s the reason for the union vote apparently the workers are not happy with the way Mercedes is treating them and hoping that UAW will get them to a decent position. I know the unions are not perfect but I truly believe the mass production industry automakers, paper etc. jobs need the unions or the companies would run over them. I get if you don’t like it you don’t have to stay however, there’s a segment of the population that wants, needs, has to work because of their circumstances and going somewhere else is not an option and the money is decent.

About every 10 years the union clowns try us at Delta. Why? It’s for the lazy folks. The ones that call in sick all the time. Fake injury. No union for me.
