I had one beat me to the spot this morning. I got to the field at 6:10 and he was on the ground in the fog. Beats all I ever seen. I got him gobbling a decent amount but he wouldn't leave the field. Finally had to move on him and of course when I can around the other side he was gone. Probably went to where I left from. Stupid turkeys.

Shoot you late son…I killed Sunday am at 6:18-6:20…he flew down at 6:05ish This morning a log truck fired up his engine at 5:40 and a bird responded. It was dark and I disnt hear another bird until 6:30.

First morning in TN they gobbled good, a lot of hens in here, got two strutters committed and my partner missed on his first bird, got to see a hell of a show before it went south.
We’ll be back after them in the morning.
