Couldn’t stand it. It was going to be too beautiful of a morning. Clear, calm, and 47° in central Florida. Can’t ask for any better weather this time of the year here. I’m out on open public this morning. Walked in blind to an area that looked decent. It’s gobbling time and haven’t heard anything. Maybe I’ll get lucky or at least learn some new ground for next year.

For the life of me I can’t figure out why these turkeys up here have been silent on the prettiest days of the year, but yet when it’s raining or gale force winds they are gobbling their feet off the ground… successful but weird year so far me. Congrats and good luck for the rest of day

Wish I could unlock the secret to what makes a turkey think it’s a good idea to gobble on any particular morning and not another. There’s literally no pattern that I can conclude at all. Yesterday burning it up. Today, there’s not even a spark, much less a flame.
