The line from Miranda Lambert’s song “The House that Built Me” that says…….I bet you didn’t know, but under that live oak….my favorite dog is buried in the yard

Tru dat, i like it when she sings over you (about Blake's Brothers passing) there's some good stuff in that song. I've got some that hasn't been mentioned yet (maybe i missed) that i might post up later, including some lyrics from one that's etched in stone on my Sister's headstone
I know the hymn's been mentioned, but I'll add that if you can listen to Amazing Grace when played on bagpipes at a funeral and not tear up, you've got some fortitude. My wife's grandfather was Scottish-American, and thinking about his funeral and those bagpipes playing still brings chills to my spine.
In 2020 my best friend passed away unexpectedly at age 55. His favorite song which they played at his funeral was Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd so, that one gets from time to time. And then on the 4 year anniversary of his passing last month Kenny Chesney released this one. Add to that the passing of my mother and other family members recently, this one sure hits home. https://youtu.be/QJTuCCygjOo?si=zYggZIFLAe8vwgyR
