What’s the best stuff to treat with? I want to spray it myself but not sure what works best. It was my father in law’s house and he passed in June. He just kinda put up with them. I want them gone.

Nothing you put on logs will stop them. Several traps around the perimeter and I take permethrin and mix with Vasoline and put a dab when you find a hole. Treating the hole kills heck out of them.

i had good results with Cyzmic CS from domyown.com. I treated my back porch beams and handrails early in the spring and again midway through summer. Very little boring and if i found one in a hole, just a shot of the mix and in seconds they would fall to the floor.
