There's a reason all those old farm houses in North Limestone Co. have "storm pits."

Exactly harvest area getting it again.

Never fails , just North of Athens , moving Northeast across the Northwest corner of Madison County. No telling how many that strip has had over the years. It's gotta be the center of the Southeast US Tornado Alley.

There’s a community in Walker county called Parrish. The old school mascot was the “Tornadoes”, before it closed.

It would be a tossup between Parrish or Carbon Hill, AL if I had to pinpoint an area in AL. And Cordova is the next community down the line from Parrish.

It would be tough to find communities more affected by storms than those 3 Walker county areas, in the past 50 years.
