General here. W4DOB. But I don't use it much now. But I can if I need to. I fool with radio all day, don't do it when I get home. Kinda like the cobblers kids have no shoes.

I have my general but really have never needed it. I operate on 2m/70cm most of the time. I just moved up because I had some HF equipment I wasn't using. Passed the exam for the general class and moved up from a tech, then sold the equipment to buy gun tools. The only radio I currenlty have hooked up is a dual band Yaesu in my office, I have a crap ton of vairous HTs as well but rarely turn them on unless bad weather is coming, They do offer piece of mind knowing you can communicate if power and cell service gets knocked out though
