I deal with a lot of material joists at work and design the rigging to go with them, depending on the application. OSHA calls for a 2:1 safety factor when dealing with material joists. I know OSHA isn’t involved here but it’s still a good guideline to go by. So…if your lifting 100 lbs max, make sure your rigging is rated for 200 lbs minimum It is. I think I've figured out that I'll use 3 2x6 blocking between the i-joists to give my trolley rail 3 attachment points with 5/16 lag bolts. Should be plenty for this application.
