There were many turkeys killed for Thanksgiving during this period and most were killed with a rifle! Those were the good ole days. Only one or two left now ain't it? I used to knock one down in the fall when i hunted Clarke... Yall kill one in spring the right way and freeze it Ok...I kilt a handful years ago in Clarke during the FALL season (with my shotgun) cause it made me HAPPY
