I rarely choose bass over crappie, but decided to give the crappie a break for a little ditch pickle tourney fishing.

Caught a 14-15lb limit of spots early, so we went searching for bigger fish. I’ve caught smallmouth, but have never gotten into a stacked up school anything like this.

Ended up with a 28.30 sack of smallies, with a 6.8 big fish. Day of a lifetime when you’re culling 5lb smallmouth.

I am officially jealous. Nice work.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
