He has a very popular Youtube channel, where he travels to different countries and/or immerses himself into different cultures in order to give you the viewer as unbiased view as possible.
We know of him, because we have totally ditched any type of network or mainstream TV and pretty much get all our video entertainment from Youtube channels. We are subscribed to a bunch of them.
