I've personally purchased Blanton's on the store shelf for $57 in Nashville, TN. Bought Eagle Rare for $39 in Atlanta, bought EH Taylor Small Batch for $49.99 at a package store in Phoenix, and paid $24 for a bottle of Weller SR at a local Kroger in Cleveland, OH.

Now, that being said, I've also been in package stores where they were asking 2-3X retail. Those I pass on by. But, you can still get what we consider good stuff at retail in other states.


and you bought it at the very bottom of its pricing structure which is similar to what i posted. i'm not near as good as you remembering the EXACT price of all the liquor i buy. i'm also not arguing the fact that the availability/price is often better in other states, but you can't walk into any kroger any time in nashville and get premium bourbon for the prices on abc allocation days. kroger's are limited to distrubution as well.
