Do not do any type of business with user JoshNich. Aka Josh Nichols . He’s the Ford Sales Manager at Opelika Ford. He’s dishonest, misleading and a general turd of a human being. Josh sold me a bass tracker earlier this year. Advertised it on here as a 1995 model with a 60 Johnson that ran well. The price was good and it had a few good things about it. His ad says motor runs well, 30 mph. Also claimed he had replacement carpet from Bass Pro to redo the deck. I bought it after admittedly was a brief inspection knowing it needed work. Long and short of it is transom was broken, not just rotten but broken welds to the point there was no way it was drieveable . Motor would not run, despite him saying he fished it a week before I bought it. Fuel pump leaked, something was wrong with timing. Not a big deal on the motor, I got it running but then discovered that the lower unit had a large crack in it and had no oil in it. Odd that it ran fine the week before with no lower unit oil. To his credit he agreed to pay for half of a used one I found, but it was a complete runaround to get him to do the right thing. The carpet he advertised from Bass pro ended up being a generic brand off eBay and wasn’t enough to redo the boat. The kicker was the fact that after I fixed it up to sell, I went to register it and realized he didn’t give me his registration. No big deal right? Except for the fact that he never registered it when he bought it from a family member 2 years prior. I had a buyer lined up for an agreed to price and was at the mercy of Josh doing the right thing and getting me a copy of his registration. After 3 weeks of a runaround, promises, lies etc I ended up having to drive 1.5 hours to Grove Hill to get a copy of the registration so I could register it in my name and sell it to my buyer. It was then that I discovered that the boat was in fact a 1988, not a 1995 as he advertised on here, so I ended up reducing the price to my buyer. After telling Josh what I did, I asked for reimbursement for the money I lost in my sell because of his lie, and he said he wasn’t sure if the model when he sold it but based on pictures off the internet it looked like a 95 model. Of course he has now blocked my calls and has not refunded me any money
Now this is a man that will lie, deceive and not do the right thing over a $2500 boat. Imagine what he would be willing to do to sell you a 50-60 thousand dollar truck. Avoid this man at his work and on this site. I know all about buyer beware, should have looked at the boat better etc. and I expected some broke stuff on an old boat , but this gem of a human being took deception and general shitty human beingness to a new level.

Bought a pot call from Squeaky. He shipped the same day I sent money via PayPal. Item arrived a couple days later and was just as advertised, if not better. He has gone above and beyond since then to help me figure out what strikers work best with the call and even got me the contact for the call maker so I can buy more when I get ready. Squeaky has proved to be a standup guy and I would not hesitate to do business with him in the future.
