Most of us don't care for winter as much as we used to. The gloomy days are more of a drag to me than the colder temps. Problem is, it'll be 100°F and muggy before you know it and there will be snakes, ticks and chiggers everywhere outdoors. I used to absolutely LOVE winter...the colder and nastier, the better. But somewhere around my early/mid-30's something changed. I would rather have 100 degrees (even with Alabama humidity) than 30's...I just don't tolerate being cold like I used to
