I’m ready for warm weather and longer days and everything that comes with it. I hate cold, windy and gloomy conditions that winter has. C’mon spring and summer!

Most of us don't care for winter as much as we used to. The gloomy days are more of a drag to me than the colder temps. Problem is, it'll be 100°F and muggy before you know it and there will be snakes, ticks and chiggers everywhere outdoors.

I hate the winter with a passion..id rather it be 100 degrees than dip below 70 ever again…cold weathers for fat people…an if they all moved off..id have more places to hunt an they wouldnt get all the rolls at the western sizzlin

Hate the cold & the dark gloomy days

But somewhere around my early/mid-30's something changed. I would rather have 100 degrees (even with Alabama humidity) than 30's...I just don't tolerate being cold like I used to

The problem with winter in Alabama is the humidity. It's just hard to get warm once you get cold. The humidity is the same issue in the summer, its hard to get cool when your sweat doesn't evaporate. That's exactly what I try to explain to people I talk to through work that live further north or out in the Rocky Mtn region......the humidity makes whatever temp you've got more extreme. So just like you can be in the Las Vegas, or Tentynine Palms, CA in the summer when it's 115, it's not particularly uncomfortable because it's dry. Likewise, I'd take temps in the teens with low humidity over temps in the upper 30's and high humidity any day. There's just no comparison. Humidity makes cold weather cut to the bone.

I have more hot weather interest than cold. Except for the five weeks of deer season that I hunt. I only like cold then.

August is by far my most hated month. There is no easy corrective measure for a sweaty ass crack.
