If so I have a question for you. Fixing to load a few to test but I have a question concerning how the wad column is assembled.

I do. I use the 2092 wad, put the mylar in the wad followed by a cork and 2 felt wads.

The Big20 Stubby XL load uses a Federal hull, does not use the VP2092 wad, no Mylar, and other different components. Not posting any more than that in order to keep Hal’s info from getting to China lol.

Not posting any more than that in order to keep Hal’s info from getting to China lol. If big stubby is 2 3/4" , we loaded some once , I don't remember everything , but we cut down 3" Fiocchi hulls. Not sure bout the wads though. I did the roll crimping , they weren't for me though , best I remember they worked well.

Are you talking about his 1 7/8 oz load that uses a 2.75” Federal hull? If so, I load and shoot it some. I mostly use it as backups for a 3” first shot as my gun won’t hold 3, 3” roll crimped shells.
