Back in same spot as yesterday. Saw the biggest buck that I’ve laid eyes on in 3 years - firing pin barely scratched the primer so no Boom! - hoping he cruises through again - if not, I’ll enjoy my coffee and call it a year!! Good luck to all on this last day!

I have 2 gobblers getting After it. Got all the way up my tree to find out my rifle line was all caught up, had to climb all the way back down and I tangle it. How a line laying on top of the ground can get tangled up is beyond me. Now I'm all 🥵!!

Just killed my first two skeeters of the year. Sitting with the wife this morning, trying to get her her first racked buck. We've been seeing a good 6 in the mornings the past two weeks, but she hasn't been able to kill him. We haven't had pictures of our two target bucks since January 6th.

In clarke - some times rut dont start good until last 5-6 days of january. Glad we hav some feb days. Glad it comes in when it does - but they take 2-3 weeks out in dec. may ask Chuck if he thought of that. Of course - i couod just forward CNC plan - which dont look to shabby😀

Had a giant eight point get away from me right after daylight. Been after him all year and the 4 seconds I see him I can’t get a shot on him. That’s been about how my Alabama season has went. Maybe he will make it and the outlaws on the club don’t shoot him when the season goes out
