The wedding and funeral industry are both extremely predatory.
Take advantage of peoples emotions with stupid profit margins Weddings are on another level of stupidity. 56% of all marriages fail. I can't even remember the last time I went to a wedding at an actual church. Everyone feels they have to rent a wedding venue. $25k wedding or married at the courthouse is exactly the same. $25,000 isn’t even expensive for a wedding in 2024. On a 1-10 ranking, that’s like a 3.5/10. More people need to heed the concept, modest wedding, amazing honeymoon
