if you willing to wait on a good angle to shoot nothing wrong with a 243. you use a good bullet wait on a good angle itll kill any deer and do it way out there . there is no perfect gun ever gun has its trade off . id rather some one use a 243 and shoot it well than use a 7mag and close their eyes or flinch ever time they pull the trigger .
