Ive been thinking about getting one for my son. He would like to start shooting longer range and the 308 is about the cheapest ammo for that. Not that he cant shoot the 270 or 243 that distamce, but those guns are set up for the woods. A long range lighter recoil 308 sounds about right. ((lighter than the 300 win mag)
