I had to go look at my load of Varget when you posted it. Last box I loaded was Lapua brass, 250M, 150gr SST over 46.2gr Varget. Gives me 2850 out of a 21” Douglas. Here’s the best part, I loaded that box on November 22, 2009. Still have 7 rounds left. I shot that model 7 exclusively for over 10 years before I started getting other rifles. It’s still my favorite. Probably haven’t touched the scope in 10 years. If I could only have one rifle that would probably be it.

Funny how an old box of hand loads, a favorite rifle, and picture from the field can bring back so many fond memories. I can literally look back at my guns and remember where I was, how old I was and where I was in life when I decided to pull the trigger that day.
