Why not strike inside Iran? Because that would end any possibility of 20 or more years of continuous war. The thing about Iran is that war drives their economy as much or more than ours. So having a never ending war on somebody else's property keeps their leaders in power...just like us. Yep, The Elites can’t stay Rich, Fat, and Happy if no bombs and weapons are being used and in need of replenishment. The Elites always are in need of conflict going on somewhere to keep their coffers filled. War Pigs!

Some people think it was a guided B! directed bomb that took out the Nordstream pipeline. B1's also do a lot of surveillance because they can stay airborne for a really long time.

I mentioned in another thread that this is what we would do in response. Attack Iranian backed insurgent forces. It was a pretty significant strike in my opinion. 85 targets is pretty substantial.
However if we want to strike Iran and want to get the biggest bang for our buck, we would strike Khark Island. This is where the Iranians, refine, store and export a great deal of their oil, and oil is their life blood. We level that place and the Iranians ability to fund mischief in the Mid-East will be severely curtailed for a long time.
Having said that, I think it would be unwise to strike Iran directly, because we could start a greater war that could spread to a World War, and I don't think that anyone on either side wants that.
The bottom line is that we don't even need to be there at all. We have everything we need in the United States in order to prosper as a nation. It's all the other nations that need free trade to survive. Why do we look through our red, white and blue colored glasses and fail to understand the resentment and hate that other countries feel for us when we are over there trying to constantly teach them how to behave?

I seriously dont remember any reports of their use before Yes, I had B-1's callsign "Bone" in the overhead many times while flying missions in Afghanistan. We gave them locations and LZ's to evaluate with their electronic sensors prior to inserting and extracting assault packages. Good dudes.
