I’ve had toyos for several years. They’ve been great but I can get nittos for $100 a tire cheaper. I’ve got almost 60k out of the toyos. Will nittos last that long.

Yes, buddy of mine says he got almost 100k on his Trail Grapplers and he is a preacher so he tends to tell the truth. Now I know he ran them down to nothing. I got 60 out of my Ridge Grapplers and they still had good tread left. But they past the 5 year mark and were starting to dry rot a lttle

I’ve been running the Nitto Trail Grappler on my pickups for almost a decade.
Wouldn’t have anything else.

Got around 90k out of a set one time, should been replaced at 75 lol. But depends on the vehicle, my son got around 50k out of his. I always wanted some toyos but they was always out of stock, i ended up trying some Yokohama MTs last go around, they were nice, but tad narrow than the Nitto. My son is running the Mud Grapplers right now, and he's gotten more out of them than most folks, he's gonna go back to trails when time for new shoes though

Know a lot of people who like the trail grapplers and love them.
I however don't not like them and will never own another set.
My situation is different. 90% of time my truck is hooked up to my gooseneck trailer pulling a tractor and implements.
I rotate every service and only got 30,000 miles. The guys I know who love them never pull anything

I’ve had both Nittos and Toyos. Both wore well, both handled well, no issues from either brand.
Nitto is a subsidiary of Toyo, so the comparisons should be pretty tight in the same tread category (mud, trail, AT). I think Toyo has a wider range of vehicles it serves (light truck, commercial, equipment, etc).

Yup, the tire guys I know have said not much difference but Toyos seem to be a slight bit better. Made at the same plants I’ve be been told. My Toyo AT3s have around 60K and need to be replaced. Started chipping some due to lack of a good rotating schedule I’m sure. 😝

I have an F250 and my neighbors have (3) 3/4 tons and go back and forth between the brands and see no much difference in quality.

DO NOT GO WITH NITTO. I had a set of 37” trail grapplers put on a brand new truck at the dealer. First time down a gravel road, giant chunks out of tread. 100% a manufacturing defect. Called NITTO and they pretty much told me to pound sand. Said the stock rim on that truck is 8”. and their tire is recommended to be on a 8.5” wide rim. Bull hockey…. Any human that can breathe can tell this wasn’t what caused the problem.

If I had a recomendation, Cooper Discoverer STMaxx. 65k miles on two different sets of the same tire. 2017 F250. Best I can find anywhere.

Nitto Ridge Grapplers have been the best tires I've run in 40 years of driving.

I have about 9 years and 60k on my nitto terragrapplers.
Tread is about shot. I’ve got alot of off-road miles on them. I have no complaints other than they suck in the rain. Not sure if I’m going to stick with them when the truck gets new shoes later this year.

x2 minus the 40 years of driving. Ive had cooper sst, bfg ta ko2, goodyear at, goodyear duratrac, and nitto ridge grappler. I will continue to buy the nittos as long as they produce them. Best tire hands down.

I have 68,000 on a set of Ridge Grapplers on a 1/2 ton truck currently with plenty of tread left. I dont think you can go wrong with either Toyo's or Nitto's.

I would conservatively estimate I have over 1.2 million miles in my lifetime. I've run Michelin, BFG, Goodyear, Firestone, Bridgestone, Hankook and a couple others.

Nitto is easily the best tire I've run.
