I hunt with a 6.5CM and it works. Shot a grown deer at 450 yards with it a few weeks ago. That said, It does not do the damage nor leave the same entry and exit holes as my 308. They will all kill.....but are not the same.

How do you know someone is a 6.5CM shooter?

Don’t worry, they’ll f’ing tell you.

Shoot light for caliber bullets.... lose deer. It's really that simple.

As long as you are shooting 140's you are still allowed to have a penis.

I shoot 140 grain Accubonds out of my 7-08 and 6.5 Creedmoor. The 7-08 sends them 2850fps and the 6.5 Creedmoor sends them 2800fps. I doubt anything I shoot will notice the difference. 🤷‍♂️

I do love the on game performance of the 120 grain NBTs out of my 7-08. They seem to really punch above their weight class.

Someone else mentioned it also, but I was watching a youTube video of some outfitter and he said they see more issues out of the 6.5 Creedmore than any other round. Now maybe everyone who shows up in camp can't shoot. Which leads to why we have this big stereotype around owners of 6.5 Creedmores.

I have a Grendel, because I like AR's. Its a fine greenfield gun, but definitely not a woods gun.

Unfortunately that's a completely different caliber and has nothing to do with this.... the 115 Nosler is considered heavy for that caliber the heaviest is a 120 grain.

Speed does kill.... but 6.5 Manbun is slow. My 257 WBY shoots about 3400fps with a 115. That's not apples and oranges that's apples and cucumbers.

I bought an Abolt II in 6.5 slightly used this summer and it’s killed the only 3 deer we’ve shot at with it.
140 grain Winchester ballistic tips. One doe at 50 yards, one 8 point at 250 yards and one 8 point at about 80 yards.
My son took it over and now I’ll pass the 243 onto his sister.
It’s always the shooter, sometimes the bullet and never the gun imo.

I have one, or my grandson has one I use. It has killed 6 for 6 with 140 Accubonds. They shoot into 1/2"/100 out of a Ruger American.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
