In our world of fake reality, I have always been very impressed by your willingness to publicly state your struggles and the way you overcame them. If anyone does not believe in God, this is just one more example for someone to know that He is real and can also be there for you. Things may not happen when we think they should, but His timing is right.
Thank you for your words and honesty Speaking of theLords timing. There were things the Lord ripped out of me the day i gave my life to him, as if they were never there, like drug addiction, ive never wanted to get high again. As far as the tree months between then and when Jennifer came back, i always thought that must have been some kind of learning period or something. Alot happened in those three months. But Jennifer said i was not the guy she knew and she wanted what i had. Then theres things i still struggle with to this day and i guess i always will.

Wish there was a like button on here . I’m guilty of giving up on people , that they are just too far gone for the Lord to help . This is a good reminder how foolish that is and not to put God in a little box with all these limitations .

Great post. I have found out that if we live our lives according to the way God designed us to live, then life can be pretty awesome. Not perfect but a lot better than if we don’t. Anytime we get away from Gods original design and order He created, serious problems arise.

How do you repay 15yrs of getting to wake up by the woman you love and your kids in the house? Watching your kids and wife get saved and baptized and stand and tell about what the Lord did for them. How do you repay 15yrs of peace knowing everything will be ok? Im so thankful for all the blessings the Lord has poured out on my family and our lives and i dont even know how to start to repay. Not to mention the cross. What can you give to someone who died for you? Well, thats where i am today. Its been a mighty good day. Cant wait till tomorrow. Looking forward to church. How do you repay? That is your question that you ask over and over. There is no repaying. Jesus died for you knowing there was no way you, me, or anyone else could repay. He died for us anyway. That my friend, is the definition of mercy and grace. All He expects of us is to live for Him and to try to show others the way to Him. Wow, it's hard to believe and to understand that he loves me and you that much...

My wife and i had been split up about 3 months. I had gave my life to the Lord and got back in church and she was still running wild. I didnt know it but the Lord was dealing with her pretty hard. That was the lonliest time of my life. I spent alot of nights alone, crying myself to sleep praying and would wake up praying the next morning. But, at the same time, it was a good time. I qas on the right path finally. I was living from sunday to sunday, studying, praying and doing my best to just keep it between the lines. I had gave up on Jennifer. We hadnt had a civil conversation in months. I was trying to move on. She called me tgat day around lunch and asked if it was too late for us. I told her i had been waiting on her to call for three months and as long as we were still breathing, it wasnt too late. I told her to be at the house at 4:30, thats when i would get home from work, and we would talk about it. I pulled up at 4:30 and there she was. I told her the Lord had shwed me how it would work and if we would do it that way we could make it. I told her theyd be no more drugs, she had had her last buzz, we would go to church together, pray together, study the bible together and do our best to live how the Lord wanted us to and honor him with our lives. I told her she couldnt come back till we got married(we had lived together and had Joseph out of wedlock) and we would go the next day and get married if she would to all this. She consented so we went to the courthouse the next day and got married and gave our marriage and relationship to the Lord. She was still lost, it took her a couple months to get saved. Ive watched the Lord make a change in her life that was unbelievable. My wife loves the Lord like i do. Were not perfect people. Were some of those christians the Lord might have had to bleed alot for. But he loved us that much. 15 years ago my family didnt have a chance in the world, but he gave us a chance. I got saved when i was 16 - greatest decision i ever made. I said the sinners Prayer and accepted Christ as my savior. Now no matter what i face here - i will hav an eternity with my Savior one day. This life is fleeting - Bible says like a vapor - here today and gone tomorrow. So living for this life/vapor such a waste. Heavenly eternity is where its at! Glad i not going to the other place for eternity - constant pain and suffering unimaginable

This is such a strong show of your "Life's Story Walking with Jesus" and I appreciate you more than you know showing how God's worked in you and your family's life.
It's a reminder that I/we should be bolder in sharing our life's story because it truly is what shapes our witness to other believers and especially non-believers in Christ that if God brought you to it He will get you through it.
