Let's hope so, but it won't be the first time in history that a mentally unstable ruler overplayed his hand would it? Mad King George comes to mind. Someone said will people get off their couches and do anything, right now, maybe not. But if one drop of a Texas DPS officer's blood hits the ground, I'd say all bets are off. Federalize the guard or whatever, DPS is a force in itself and they aren't backing down. It's not like we are talking about an Ashley Babbit, we are talking about the feds hurting a state law enforcement officer. I think that is the biggest danger to an escalation getting out of control.

Either way, the feds are in a big corner. This opens the door to the states to stand up on other unconstitutional situations.Taxes, education, gun laws, etc.... The feds have to see that side of it too. This week it's the border, next week it could be a state that refuses to allow the ATF to do their work. Certainly, they see this as a slippery slope. Abbott's letter was basically a declaration of independence and rebuke of federalism.

Whatever happens, I think whatever we have grown accustomed to as normal is out the window.

We all know Diaper Joe ain't calling the shots. The DC establishment that is calling them is a corrupt cabal of self proclaimed "elites" that are egotistical and out of touch with the everyday American. I'm more concerned that we have not seen an official Whitehouse response yet. It makes me think that they are really figuring the most irritating thing they can do to us to keep their plans on track.
I do not think that the Biden cartel really expected this particular response. I think they thought we would just bitch and complain some more and not actually do anything like the RINO's have told them we would. Now they are losing Nikki and the more centrist Democrats.

He was meeting with several unions yesterday. They obviously drugged him up with the "cocktail". You could tell when it wore off because he couldn't even speak or get a sentence out at his last stop, with it all on the teleprompter right in front of him. It'll probably take him several days to recover, so I doubt you see him before Sunday or Monday. He's not calling a single shot anyway. It's the old Obama regime that is running everything from behind the scenes.

Some info the public isn't getting is the wire is at illegal crossings that have no border guards, 0 control . Abbott wanted to funnel the crossers to those that were more controlled. Basically these were where the criminals and drug runners were crossing. All they have to do is go a few miles either way and they can cross.

I think this will be the main reason demos lose the election . I would say 90% of Americans are aganist this open door policy. Finally someone standing up to these evil elites. Hope it don’t come to bloodshed.

I feel like conservatives are always 2 steps behind the democrats. In this debacle we see/think that it will win the election for us because we just think things play out organically. We are talking about urban and suburban DFW, Austin and Houston. It ain't like here. There's more people in DFW than the whole state of Alabama in an area about the size of 8 counties. 75% of Texas population lives in urban areas. Texas is basically purple. It'll be a warzone, 100 x worse than 2020. The news didn't report on it, but I was there. It was like something out of a movie. I know a few windows got broke and trash can set on fire in Bham, but that ain't what I'm talking about. I'm talking about 1200 people running through the streets for hours chanting "Kill Whitey" and residents in Uptown (the most affluent part of Dallas proper) having to resort to pulling guns and firing at the mob. The police coms giving orders to DPD "Don't get involved". I'm talking about downtown Austin one of the most vibrant downtowns in the country boarded up for months with slogans like "ACAB" spray painted and residents in nice areas hiding in their closet while the mob breaks in to loot their home. All things I experienced in Texas in 2020. The mainstream news had their orders too. They refused to report it, but lord help us if a person stood up to the mob and they happened to be white. We all heard all about that. I'm not trying to be alarmist or a jerk, but most people here in Bama experienced 2020 riots through their TV. I was there, I thought the Soros funded Antifa mobs was speculative, but it's real. They are there and they are waiting like a snake in the grass.

It woke me up and I was moving to Tyler TX 100 miles out of Dallas before the opportunity to move here popped up. I guess if you don't believe me, you can believe it was enough to make me move out of an area I lived in for 20 years and had 2 businesses in. I thank God right now, I had the freedom to do so.

All I am saying is Abbott has the National Guard, DPS, and even motivated volunteers, but don't think they don't have their forces either. That's why this is so dangerous, both sides have their back up against the wall and both sides cannot only run military ops, but substantial paramilitary ops.

I'm telling my fam and friends to just be smart like they had to be in 2020. Have enough food and water to be able to stay inside a few days longer than the average bear. Let someone else be the first guy to stick his head up to go on a grocery run if you can. See a demonstration or road block turn around, get out of there regardless of who seems to be putting it on until you know how things are sorting out. A lot of people got messed up in 2020 just by making a wrong turn.
