Who uses one and which one do you recommend? I need to get one and practice for my trip to the NW in May. My intel says those Merriams will answer a howler over any other locator call.

I picked up a flextone dawg pound howler last year. It worked way better than I thought it would on these TN turkeys.

ive never used a locater, I’ve you hunted Rios or Merriams on unfamiliar territory without someone telling you where they are? They are 100% useful out west
If you want to always win, never play anyone better than you!

Just use your turkey diaphrams. Anything you can get a clear note out of you can howl on.
