This could get interesting in a hurry. Biden wants to use the military to open the border. TX can probably mobilize a 100,000 strong armed militia in less time.

Are the barriers on private property? If so, that seems a violation of many things? But, if on fed property then TX may not be able to keep them there. But, I cannot imagine a single land owner in TX who would not let the state of TX move the barriers to their property line.

Not that I agree in any way about the massive influx of illegals, but I could also see how a cease and desist order could be enforced if the barriers are on fed property.

Feds claim jurisdiction on the border that would basically include an easement on the actual border and all ports of entry (Intl airports) and check points on hwys withing 80 miles of the border. Ain't saying I agree with any of those horse crap, but that has been the understanding for decades.

How would they do this? The National Guard would be a no go. They’ll just federalize the units like they did when Wallace tried to use the National Guard to prevent black students from attending U of A.

Seems to be the feds should be putting them up instead of taking down. Mass sanction of an invasion by the democrats.

From where? Total strength of National Guard in Texas is only 19,000. Armed militia.......folks from the farms and villages? - might maybe get 1K to show up.

There's a lot more 1k in Texas sick of it all. Probably a lot meaner than the average 19 year old guardsmen.

Sick of what is going on sure many, many of the folks in Texas and other places but gonna leave their jobs, homes, and familes to take up arms.....nope. Would be lots of talk, like here on the internet, but not many taking any action.

Oh, average age of officers in Texas Army National Guard is just over 34 and average for enlisted a bit over 33 years of age. Also many of the units are support elements. Only a fraction of the 19K are formed as part of the Infantry Brigade Combat Teams.

This would be a very bad look for Sleepy Joe and the upcoming election. May be one of the things used to have his numbers fall and give a reason to replace him with another candidate.

I'm pretty sure we're past elections having any meaning in all but the reddest of states. The commies figured out they could cheat and then tell us the STFU and sit the fark down and - we did.

I totally agree that the feds should be putting the border wall up!
