I think the next step the NCAA does is figure out a way to cap it and spread the money around a little bit. They have no control of it; they are private contracts. The courts have deemed you can't limit an individuals ability to profit of their own NIL. Now if the players become employees ?? I think they will figure out a way. I have no clue what that way is. The NCAA is dead man walking in major college football; they don't even have anything to do with playoffs or bowls. They only big money source is the basketball tournament contract
