Nada to the west so far, based on what we saw last weekend. Personally think it's still a week to 10 days away, for that whole area from Greenville, all the way back across to the river.
I have not even seen any scrapes yet. Had a field full of doe and small bucks last weekend and neither were paying attention to the other. I usually start seeing some scrapes opening up around Christmas. I will say I have seen a couple of new younger bucks showing up so maybe it will fire up soon.
I’ve had a couple young bucks bumping does as of the last couple days. Don’t get excited though. I think the 20’s week and after will be the time to be in the woods up there. If I had to nail down a time for that area, it would be 20-27.
