The 4 team CFP selection committee was a disaster from its inception. 12 teams may be marginally better but they should go to a fair elimination system that is based on the entire season's results on the field. Those from weak conferences or with poof schedules would get weeded out quickly by way of playoff losses.

Yes, something where they get to the championship game by winning all season and also getting through a playoff bracket system.


I think that would hurt the teams in the power 5 and help the teams in group of 5 wouldn’t it? I don’t think anyone would want those teams making it to the playoffs ahead of teams that are much much better than they are.




Should be conference Champs only, if the power five teams are getting screwed they can change conferences. Think about it ole miss moves to sunbelt, Texas moves to mountain west and so on. Now when they recruit they can tell their players if they win conference they in playoffs, wouldn't be long till all the conferences evened out. Also as a fan all your games mean something and everyone know what they have to do to get in. No more my teams better than your team because we beat southern miss by more than you did or we beat #1 and you only beat #7. Cuts all the bs out. And it ain't like college's ain't changing conference's any way. Won't ever happen because of the $s involved
