Shoot yes they have enough spring pressure. I replaced the axle on my own boat trailer about ten years ago. I made sure I put bearing buddies on the new axle.

I recommend them to everyone and have installed SEVERAL hundred without a single bring back. Seriously, you won’t have any issues with them if you do it right. Just make sure to buy the name brand. I don’t trust the chicom versions.
