Anyone have experience with them? I don’t expect a lot, just want to know if I should avoid at all costs or pick one up.

Thanks in advance

They may be all gone but I've got a think a cannon 72 gun safe from tractor supply and I don't have any complaints other than it won't fit in my house so it stays in the garage

I have one. Won it at an event a couple years ago. It is nothing over the top compared to my big safe, but I haven't had any issues or negative things to say about it.

I looked into Cannon a few years ago and ended up not going that route. Many of the cheaper safes do not have a manual override or key. If the digital combo goes out, you have to hire a locksmith to break into your own safe.

Which model did you get? None of the ones I found had a key. That’s great! May have to look at them again.

My keypad on mine went out, or started going out rather. It would take 8-10 tries before it would open sometimes. Cannon sent me a keypad and locking mechanism. It took e about 10min to fix it. It opens first try again now. My first safe i gave my son has never gave a bit of trouble

I wonder why all these manufacturers went away from combination dial locks?

The guys at Walter Craig said if u want a combination instead of a key pad, they can switch it out on the safes they sell.
