It's getting ugly. Besides all the trash talk now you've got Meetchicken turning Saban in to the NCAA for shaking hands with a portal recruit they both want the other day at practice during the dead period.

ā€œMore than likely, Jackson’s handshake with Saban falls under jurisdiction of the ā€˜Bump Rule.’ Coaches can briefly say hello to a recruit if they happen to see him while they’re on campus. With that being said, it is rather funny how recruiters manage to ā€œbump intoā€ the exact player for whom they are recruiting.

However, the Bump Rule does not apply to a team’s own practice.

A portion of Alabama’s practice on Thursday was open to the media and the public. In that case, Jackson’s attendance might not be considered ā€œprearrangedā€ and Saban just happened to ā€œbumpā€ into his soon-to-be starting defensive back for 2024.

The whole thing could be scrutinized and debated ad nauseam. Did Nick Saban commit a recruiting violation in broad daylight? Probably not. He would never put himself in that position. He knows better.ā€

It's nicknamed the Saban bump rule for a reason.

I think his goofiness comes across sometimes as that but mostly he is just goofy.

I’ve been thinking the same.

It's not that hard to run the ball on Bama. Auburn ran up and down the feild on them, and couldn't run at all against Maryland.

What you need to figure out is how auburn can play one or two games every year like they played bama that day but they lay eggs the rest of the season. You figure that out and you could get you a few million dollars of that money auburn is wasting

Yeah it’s not hard. It’s amazing their run defense is such a pushover and they’ve only lost 1 game and that was to the number 3 team in the nation. They should have easily lost 6-7 games it’s so easy to run in them.
