I have been hunting in the Wheeler Refuge near Huntsville. I have seen a few deer but very little sign that the rut is on. Only a few scrapes found so far. No chasing seen or even many deer. Last two years there was rubs and scrapes everywhere. Either the deer have moved on or the rut hasn't begun in this area yet.
Thoughts?
