This is the best advice you have been given! Getting one up a mountain is something you will never forget. Never again for me....

And the first time you do it will change everything. Good luck. I actually rolled a buck off a bluff once, just so i could go downhill. Steep grades dragging a buck is an experience you wont forget.

We hunt one creek bottom with a road 100yds or so above the creek. I like to hunt a creek crossing down there. I shot a pretty good buck last light feb 9 one year. As soon as i pulled the trigger, i thought, "man i hope i missed him". I got down and walked over there, he was laying in the creek. I swore i wouldnt kill a deer down there anywhere i couldnt get a 4 wheeler to ever again. It wasnt a real long drag but it was a real bad drag.
