Showing them all month long on INSP , several of his best we've mentioned.
"Why do you ask"?
Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.

I've probably watched all of them at one point or another, being raised by my grandparents.
I find little interest in most modern movies or TV.
But I'm rewatching all kinds of old westerns and other movies.
Starting with John Wayne. I've watched a number of Clint Eastwood movies as well. I grew up watching Any Which Way You Can and Every Which Way But Loose. Two of my all time favorite movies.
I'm not picky, they are all good in their way. I just finished McLintock. Started The Quiet Man. I'll go through all of them eventually. My wife actually will sit through them with me, which is a bonus.
Another of my all time favorites is Darby O'Gill and the LIttle People. Disney movie with Sean Connery. Excellent movie. Completely unrelated to westerns. That movie made me terrified of Banshees when I was a kid.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I watched it with my grandparents when I was a kid and wanted my grandmother to make me a sugar tit when we got to that part of the movie and Pypa explained to me what that was. Myma always reminded me of that.

Angel and The Badman with Gail Russel was also a great movie. Harry Carey really made that excellent.

Finished Quiet Man. Not bad, but not my favorite. Think I'm going to try The Cowboys tomorrow.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

Changed my mind and watched Hondo. Wasn't bad. Watching True Grit right now. It's probably my least favorite due to the azzhole girl. I'm working my way through Amazon Prime free movies for now. I'll exhaust all the free before purchasing.
But I'm also considering getting the DVD collection at some point. If it's all inclusive.

The Searchers and Big Jake are probably my top two. The War Wagon I loved as a kid I thought the gatlin gun was cool.
Of the WWII movies I actually liked the Fighting Seabees

My 11 yr old son was in the stand with me this year and we saw a deer too far away for him to shoot. He then turned toward be smiling and acted like he was talking to the deer way off in the beans... He said, if you come close enough, "Your fault, my fault, nobody's fault. I'm gonna blow your head off." Then he laughed.
Maybe we have seen Big Jake too many times.

Finished El Dorado. Started Horse Soldiers. They've all been good, but so far McLintock takes first for me.

Got through all the free John Wayne westerns I have access to. Tonight I revisited Quigley Down Under and that is a most excellent movie. Maybe my favorite.
