He was the in charge person, and I think he should have been more responsive to the issues Floyd was having. Not that it would have likely mattered in this case because he was OD'd, but there was just no basic regard for human life. If someone is telling you they can't breathe, err on the side of caution. Dude was trying to pass a phony bill. Not rob a bank.

I don't know that I think jail is the proper place for him, terminating him and taking away his ability to be an LEO would have probably also worked.

I also think this sort of thing has gone on for years, and the only reason we see it so much is because camera's are everywhere.
