CATHEAD.....reference to a BIG home-made Biscuit. PONE.....reference to an iron Skillet CornBread Batch. DUBS.....reference to the Dove Birds we shoot in September. SAWNZABITCH.....reference to a tough situation----"Getting that Deer drug up out of that Swamp was a SAWNZABITCH" FAR......reference to building up a "FIRE" in the Fireplace. This terminology dates back to a "Holler" somewhere in Walker County. HOLLER......reference to a ravine,Valley that is usually all Hardwood and sometimes has a "Branch" running through it. BRANCH MINNERS......reference to Minnows caught in a small creek which quite often are "Hawny-Head" Minners"....aka "Creek Chubs" Nary an aldeerism in that list BW. It’s not southern lingo, it’s words that have been made ALDeer famous thru either legendary misspelling or mis- application.
We’re not dead. We just smell that way. Dayum. - AC870
Yessir! I’m always gonna shoot what makes me happy and I want everyone else to do the same! If you shoot one be proud of it and don’t worry what anyone else thinks. - SJ22
